Volunteers

The Frisco Public Library is proud to offer volunteer opportunities to community members. Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, to learn the behind-the-scenes of libraries, and to develop new career skills. The library invites you to assist with special projects, day-to-day support, and collection maintenance. We are currently looking for volunteers for various library areas.  Adults interested in volunteering, or if you have questions, please call Judy Pedersen at 972-292-5601 or email her at jpedersen@friscotexas.gov. To register, please click here.

Teens ages 14-18 interested in volunteering at the library can click here for more information.

Donations

There are several ways to donate for the benefit of Frisco Public Library:
The Friends of the Library: The Friends of the Library is always accepting monetary donations through membership, contributions, special events, and the sale of gift items such as holiday ornaments and Friends of the Frisco Public Library library bags. Please make check payable to Friends of the Library.
Library Foundation: The Library Foundation works at building a permanent endowment fund to support capital and other large projects in support of the Frisco Public Library through legacy gifts, donations, and the Frisco Storytelling Festival.
Memorial Gift Donation Do something really special and make a Memorial Gift donation "In Memory" or "In Honor of" someone today! Anyone wishing to make a specific monetary gift donation towards the purchase of library materials in memory of, or in honor of, family, friends, or a loved one, may do so by filling out the first page of the Memorial Gifts Form and returning it to the Frisco Public Library.
Please make donation checks payable to the Library Foundation. Feel free to contact any reference librarian for additional information or to get help completing the Memorial Gifts Form.
Book Donation: We are currently accepting donations for the library book sale. The Frisco Public Library gladly accepts all book and audio-visual donations.  The majority of book and audio-visual donations are sold to benefit the Friends of the Frisco Public Library.  Materials that meet current library collection needs are added to our collection.

Please bring donations to the Cards and Accounts desk during normal library hours where you may get a tax receipt.  Donations of a few books can be dropped off at the drive-up window located on the southeast side of the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center.

If you have questions about donations, please contact the appropriate people associated with the links above.
