Computer Access
Is your computer down?  Do you need to check your email or find something online?  Visit our state-of-the-art computer lab on the first floor of the Frisco Public Library, where 25 Internet stations are available for public use.  There are also 24 computers available on the 4th floor. All public access computers have Internet access as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. These Internet stations may be used by any cardholder.  If you do not have a card, you may apply for one at the Cards and Accounts desk. The cardholder must also agree to the Computer Service Policy in order to use the computers. Additionally, 14 internet stations are in our new teen area, also located on the first floor, and 10 computers are available on the second floor. Teen area computers are reserved for teens using that area, and second-floor computers are reserved for children and any adults accompanying them. Children 18 and under who wish to use the computers without their parents in attendance, must have written consent on file from their parent or legal guardian.   If there is no wait list for the computer, you have unlimited use! If there is a wait, please sign up for a reservation at the Ask Us! desk on the floor where you want to use a computer.
Need to Use a Computer?
Please follow these directions to log on to a computer: 1. Choose a computer. 2. Click on Available. 3. Type in your library card number and last name. 4. Click Use This Computer. 5. Read the Internet Service Policy. 6. Click on Accept to accept the terms.
Need to Print?
Please follow these directions to get your print job: 1. Enter your Library Card Number into the print and reservation computer located next to the copier. The screen saver may be up so you will have to move the mouse a little to see the Library Card Number box.  2. Click OK. 3. Select your print job with a single click from the mouse on the Job Number. 4. Insert the required amount of money into the coin / bill acceptor next to the print station. 5. Click on Print.* *Note: To select multiple print jobs, please click on Select Multiple Jobs button and then perform step four again.
Wi-Fi Access
If you prefer to use your laptop, bring it!  We have free wireless Internet access available throughout the building. Select the network name 'Guest' from the list of available networks. No other login steps are required.
