Frisco Public Library offers a constantly changing schedule of adult programs and lectures    on a range of topics.

2008 Adult Summer Reading Program

July 5 – August 3
 

If you always thought Summer Reading Programs are just for kids, think again! The Library  offers “Reading Round-Up” for adults this summer, a program that awards prizes  based on the number of books a participant reads.  You must read four books to attain each level.

        Level 1 prize:  Frisco mug filled with goodies and an entry into the Grand Prize drawing.
        Level 2 prize:  A current best seller and an entry into the Grand Prize drawing.
        For each additional level: an entry into the Grand Prize drawing (up to four entries total). 

       Grand prizes will be awarded at the drawing on August 4.
       * Dinner for 2 to Randy’s Steakhouse , 
       * Dinner  for 2 to LaHacinda 
       *One of three canvas book bags filled with Mystery, Romance or  Poetry books and other goodies.

Get your Adult Reading Round-Up brochure at the Ask Us desks on the first and fourth floors of the library. And then relax during these long hot summer days with some good reading.

Project Linus Blanket Day
 
Saturday, July 19
10 am - 5 pm

Come help make blankets for seriously ill children. Quilting squares will be available for children to decorate. This is a fun service project for the entire family! For more information, call 972-292-5669.
