Kid-Friendly Databases

Do you have a library card?  If so, try starting with some of these great databases and reference services, where you can find live online help, tons of reference sources like dictionaries, encyclopedias, & atlases, and lots of magazine articles selected just for you!  In most cases, you'll need your library card number and you pin number to use these.  If you forget your pin, or a special username and password are required, just ask the library staff for help!

 
Ebsco Kids Search

Ebsco resources selected specifically for primary and middle school students.  Find full-text articles from hundreds of popular resources.  Also includes a dictionary, encyclopedia, and image collection, as well as a Teacher Resources section for educators.  Available through Texshare (Texshare Username & Password required if accessing from home.)
