Spring 2010 Meeting Dates - One lucky teen will win a free manga volume at each meeting!
January 21, 2010 – Bento Box & Candy Sushi Night
Make an origami bento box and fill it with candy sushi that you create. Enjoy an evening of edible Japanese culture with other anime fans. There will be an anime movie to watch on the theatre screen.
February 18, 2010 – Anime Jeopardy!
Put your hours of anime watching and manga reading to the test? Do you deserve the name ‘Otaku?’ Find out during Anime Jeopardy!
March 18, 2010 – DDR Night
Got mad dance skills? Come show them off at DDR night.
April 15, 2010 – Cherry Blossom Party
You don’t need to go all the way to Japan to enjoy a Sakura Hanami (flower viewing party), come to this meeting and enjoy our cherry tree mural. Learn how to make origami cherry blossoms tp take home with you. Have your picture taken in front of a beautiful cherry blossom backdrop.
May 20, 2010 – Cosplay Night & A-KON tickets
It's Cosplay Night. Dress up as your favorite anime/manga character and show off your creativity in the costume contest. Select an anime DVD from our newest arrivals of anime movies to enjoy with fellow club members. There will be a special drawing for tickets to the A-KON anime convention in Dallas! |
